2008 Sugar Bowl, Georgia vs. Hawaii, prediction

Hawaii Warriors vs. Georgia Bulldogs in the 2008 Sugar Bowl. This will be a great game. This will answer a lot of questions for Hawaii. We all remember the Boise State vs Oklahoma game last year. This has all the makings to be just like it. It also has all the makings for Georgia to blow out Hawaii. One of those things will happen.
Some people think that this should be the National Championship. Some people will see the winner of this game as this years “Team that got messed by the BCS “. Hawaii is undefeated. They are the only undefeated team in the nation. They have had an easy schedule, but they won all their games. That is all you can ask a team to do. Now you can ask an AD to schedule better teams, but Hawaii has a tough time doing that.
Georgia played in a very tough SEC. They were tied for first in the SEC East. They lost the Tiebreaker to Tennessee. They never got a chance to play in the SEC Championship, and no one will ever know how they would have played. They were playing their best football of the season at that point. I think they would have beaten LSU with their injuries. When I say that they were tied for the SEC East Title, please keep in mind that all but one team from the East was bowl eligible. Vanderbilt was the only team not eligible and South Carolina was not picked up.
We all know about Hawaii’s star quarterback Colt Brennan. He placed third in the Heisman voting. I would like to introduce Knowshon Moreno to the rest of the nation. He is well known in the South. He will be the second biggest Heisman threat from the SEC next year. (Tebow is coming back). He reminds everyone that sees him of Carnell “Cadillac” Williams. In fact, my nickname for him is a “Cadillac with Georgia License Plates”. I know it is a long nickname, but I like it.
My pick is, of course, Georgia. Mark Richt is one of the best coaches in the nation. Knowshon Moreno is one of the best running backs in the nation. They have a defense that is playing lights out. Stafford is a good game manager with a good arm. Hawaii has not faced a team remotely this talented.
If Hawaii did win, it would throw a huge wrench into the BCS. I do not think it will happen but I did write about it.
The announcers of the game will be Thom Brennaman and Charles Davis. That same pair will call the BCS National Championship game.

It all hinges upon the Georgia defense. They know what Hawaii’s going to do. Will they stop it?

we all know about knowshon moreno. he cant be stopped and hawaii will never be able to stopn it. he is deffidently one of the best running backs in the nation. can you say heisman winner?

I’ve watched both teams, I am a Gator fan and am partial on this game. I truly believe the Dogs will win, UH played one big team (Washington wasn’t even a good team this year) and it showed UH how physical the game can be. Now they have to play a really good big team who faces top teams every week. Though my prediction is Georgia, I’m rooting for UH. I see the Dogs underestimating the warriors just like their fans are.

Thom Brennaman can eat a ********!!!!! UGA had to prove to the nation that they are the best team in College Football. Yes Brennaman, that means beating the crap out of a Hawaii for 60 straight minutes w/out letting up. If you were offended by the beating, get a new job…its football, you ***. Keep your lame opinions to yourself and just call the game!!! Football fans dont want to hear you badmouthing their team, their coach or their fans. Go back to baseball the ***** ****!!!

OK that was a whooopin. Georgia had a great season!! Congrats. If we did have a playoff, Georgia would dominate. That is just my opinion though.
