Tennessee to run a two quarterback system?

In the SEC there’s been a lot of tenuousness in the quarterback class. Outside of Tebow and Snead there’s been a lot of competition for QB1 in the greatest convergence of talent since that episode of How I Met Your Mother when Barney had the yips.

Oh Barney, what won’t you get into?

Anyway, in Tennessee, Jonathan Crompton seems like he’s in much the same boat as Chris Todd. In that he’s done enough in camp to win the job that he nearly played himself out of. But as Lee Corso would say, not so fast, my friend.

Kiffin apparently thinks the competition is really close. He wants back-up Nick Stevens to get the same amount of run to make sure that he’s ready for the battles.
