Gerald Jones High Ankle Sprain: Harbinger of Doom?
The big news out of Knoxville this weekend was the loss of Wide Receiver Gerald Jones for a span of 4 to 6 weeks due to a high ankle sprain. Jones was the lone bright spot in terms of the dystopian nightmare that was Dave Clausen’s offense last season, and in terms of the kiddie corps, he was the key to avoid forcing them to get real experience before forcing them into the fire after the injuries hit Austin Jones Rogers and Denarius Moore. But for the all-important game at Florida, it looks as if the would be sensational Freshman Nu’Keese Richardson and Marsalis Teague are going to have to lead the team against Florida.
