Tennessee fans and their coach continuously showed themselves as arrogant throughout this bowl experience. Most of their chest-thumping was related to UT’s history or the strength of the SEC. The truth is that UT has a past but not much of a present. They negate their past by acting as if they’ve never “been there”. I guess not going to a bowl for several years has changed them. VT showed poise. Most of the VT players are too young to remember when Tennessee was good at football.

well to those of you who obviously dont keep up with tennessee that well how many #1 teams did vt face one that i recall and just so happens uf and bama were 1 when tennessee played them it should be a good game tennessee doesnt have a chance lol right and florida was going to score 100 vt lucky to win in this one boys/girls

hahahah tyrod cant pass to save his life this year? hes only threw 4 picks with over 2,000 yards and like 13 or 16 touchdowns i cant forget. he has very good passer efficiency. Crompton has played well lately, but who have they played? Florida and Bama were at the top half of their schedule. exactly. VT wins this one.

Jake: I see what I see. And the ACC had some real flawed games that make this conference look like an irrelevant joke. Marginal SEC teams beat great ACC teams this year.

And as for TT? Completing 55% of passes doesn’t really make you trust his ability. Or at least it shouldn’t. If Va Tech doesn’t trail, it won’t be an issue, but I think they’ll trail.
