An Ugly Undercard this Week in the SEC.

SEC Week 10 Prediction Pick Briefs Featuring Florida at Vanderbilt

It’s going to be a real quiet week in the SEC beyond the marquee. There’s no battles for third place in a division this week. Like last year. The first week in November inspires little. So let’s discuss the ennui.

Previously on…
I go 3-2 to get to 32-26 overall.
Arkansas (+4.5) covers to join LSU (+6.5).
Mississippi State gets a week to heal.
Auburn gets a relaxing tune-up to deal with the firestorm.
Georgia gets Idaho State, Todd Grantham’s hands remain at their sides the whole game.
Kentucky doesn’t defeat Charleston, but the Southern part is going to have to rebuild.

Ole Miss (-28) vs. Louisiana-Lafayette
If the Raging Cajuns had any sort of an offense, I’d consider this an insult. But seeing the number so high and seeing that Ole Miss has not had great amounts of trouble generating offense against teams allowing fewer yards per play against SEC offenses? Ole Miss is going to cruise. 45-14.

Tennessee (-20) at Memphis
Memphis is terrible. Worse than the aforementioned Tyler Bray back tattoo. They’re allowing 41.5 points per game. They’re averaging a loss by 27 points without playing anyone of major consequence. Derek Dooley is going to have a nice week this week. No Rommel references and no drama. Just a 35-14 win.

Florida (-14) at Vanderbilt
If Vanderbilt was a fantasy football team, they would be abandoned. Warren Norman’s not going to play. And even when he was healthy, this offense has been terrible beyond the outlier game against Eastern Michigan. Addazio cobbled a nice game with Brantley, Burton, and Reed rolling on Georgia hydra style. Cruising on a Saturday afternoon. Florida 27, Vanderbilt 3
