So sad.

Cam Newton will play versus Georgia.

I never wanted to do a shameless and naked grab for reads. I don’t care about that sort of thing. I know the great majority of my posts are sort of niche, but the fact of the matter is that I never wanted to be the sort of guy to avoid breathless gossip posts. Those bring nothing of substance to the table.

But then this War Blogle dude decided to say that Cam Newton was supposed to be suspended. And I was interested. Then, Paul Finebaum reported this as well.

And I suppose that was my mistake. I got caught up by a supposed legitimate news source furthering the story with a high level of HSQ. What’s HSQ? I’ll give you a hint. The last word’s quotient.

Anyway, I looked at this tale and said, this needs to be shared. And hey look! It’s pageviews and views and views and views. But it was all because this War Blogle character was sick of all of the character assassination of the beloved Cam Newton. And as such?

I propagated a lie. And I apologize. Both for the gossip, and my incessant need to use the word propagate. It’s a great word, but I’m not sure I’m using it correctly.
