The one reason why Randall Cobb may come back? He can't beat Tennessee.

Prediction Pick Briefs, Week 13, featuring Florida vs. Florida State

So that was something else today, wasn’t it?

But tomorrow is fixing on being a big day rivalry wise. Every team has stakes to play for this week. Maybe not South Carolina, but everyone else has something to play for.

So seeing as I went 2-3 last week, had Auburn this week, and am going with Les Miles to get the win for your LSU Tigers? I’m 42-34. Let’s break some games.

Yeeeeeeeeah!

Wake Forest at -5 Vanderbilt
Ever since that one commenter made mention of how I was wrong about Vanderbilt, I’ve taken a seeming delight as to the misery of the Commodores this year. And by most metrics, they are terrible. But Wake Forest? They’re worse. They went winless in a conference known for their parity. Take the Dores. Vanderbilt 31, Wake Forest 24.

Kentucky at -2.5 Tennessee
The problem with Kentucky is the pure, simple fact that their defense cannot manage to get off the field. Randall Cobb always plays with a chip on his shoulder because the team he loved didn’t love him back, but this is a scenario where the defense will give Tyler Bray and Tauren Poole everything the offense manages. And more. Tennessee 45, Kentucky 41.

Mississippi State -2.5 at Ole Miss
Mississippi State doesn’t want to just be the team that got fat off the three SEC East games they played this year. Ole Miss is -7 in turnovers and are allowing over 35 points per game. Chris Reif gets to .500 in conference. Mississippi State 38, Ole Miss 27.

Florida +2 at Florida State
Florida State’s most major flaw this year has been an inability to take care of the ball. And I know that saying that Steve Addazio is going to lead an offense to victory is tatamount to running Parkour outside of a biker bar? But fool me five times? Florida 16, Florida State 14.

South Carolina -2.5 at Clemson
If Kyle Parker was watching film instead of working in extra batting practice, I would fear the premise of the trap game? But with Marcus Lattimore and Alshon Jeffrey? They have so much of an advantage. South Carolina 23, Clemson 10.

Georgia Tech +14 at Georgia
I have no empirical evidence as to why. Georgia is and has been the better team this year. Georgia is playing to extend their season. Georgia may be playing to save Mark Richt. But the way this year’s been going? I’m going to hedge my bet. Georgia 28, Georgia Tech 17.
