LSU Season Preview Prediction Picks
Last year was one of the most Les Miles seasons ever. Between Tennessee, eating grass to beat Alabama, and the bounce pass to beat Florida? LSU won more than they should have. As per usual. The adventures continue.
1. I may be beating a dead horse with this theme, but that being said? Les Miles went with experience in starting Jarrett Lee. But the former high chief of the Pick 6 is in no form or fashion going to survive the year. Mettenberger is just too good not to stay a backup.
2. Spencer Ware will be making his presence felt for the first eight games of the season. He will get six hundred yard games in the process. But LSU has had a history of bad luck with their runners health. Ware will fall to it.
3. Reuben Randle is going to make SportsCenter’s top ten with two highlight level catches during big moments in the season. He will also get 8 touchdowns. So yeah. There will be defenses kept honest.
4) The legend of Anthony Johnson will begin in Dallas. He will be a disruptive force that helps slow up the high powered offenses that they’ll start the year with. I’ll explain further when I talk about the LSU-Oregon game in greater depth.
5) And Tyrann Mathieu will find himself a second year for the stat sheet filling. He will get five sacks, four picks, and a scoop and score for the Tigers this season. He will be an adorably tiny defensive force.
6) But when it all comes down to it, do I believe in Les Miles? Because his charismagic (trademarked) is usually worth a win or two by hook or by crook. So as such, I’m going to call this record with my least amount of confidence. But I can see this being worth half of the SEC West Division Title.
