[Rumor] Could LSU’s Heisman Candidate Miss The Alabama Game?
As you can tell by the headline, you can file this one as a strict rumor. But that being said? This is one that could have massive implications for the BCS as well as the Heisman race. For it seems as if two major starters and a potential future star are already out for the Auburn game and could face multiple game suspensions.
In a nutshell, it seems as if Tharold Simon, Tyrann Mathieu, and Spencer Ware failed a drug test.
How badly does it wound LSU? In terms of the running game, there’s Alfred Blue and Michael Ford. So you can sense there will be little if any of a beat skipped. In terms of Mathieu and Simon? There will probably be little if any amount of effect this week. I’ll explain further later. But suffice it to say that Auburn isn’t to exploit the situation.
But if it is a multiple game situation? That means Alabama. And that means Alabama gets an advantage.
But then again, we’re waiting for a 6 pm press conference on the matter.
